Amwork provides seamless integration with Google Calendar, allowing you to synchronize events and tasks efficiently. Below are key points to understand before setting up the integration.
Google Calendar vs. Google Tasks:
Google Calendar and Google Tasks are separate services, though Google Tasks can be displayed within Google Calendar.
Amwork integrates with Google Calendar only, not Google Tasks. This means that any tasks created in Google Tasks will not be synced with Amwork.
Synchronization Details:
Any event created in Google Calendar will be synchronized with Amwork.
Any task or calendar entry created in Amwork will be synced to Google Calendar as an event.
Since Google Tasks is not integrated, tasks created in Google Tasks will not appear in Amwork.
Google Calendar Structure:
Google Calendar allows multiple calendars (Personal, Family, Work, etc.).
You need to integrate each calendar separately—one integration per Google Calendar.
In Amwork, you can integrate either your Amwork calendar or a task board with a specific Google Calendar.
How to Set Up the Integration
Go to Amwork Settings and navigate to the integrations section.
Select Google Calendar and authorize Amwork to access your Google account.
Choose the specific Google Calendar you want to integrate with Amwork.
Decide what to sync:
Sync Amwork calendar entries with Google Calendar.
Sync Amwork task boards with Google Calendar.
Complete the integration, and your events and tasks will start synchronizing.
Note: If you need to sync multiple Google Calendars, you must set up a separate integration for each one.
