How to Integrate Your Email with Amwork

Email Integration

In the main system settings, select “Email Settings,” then “Add Mailbox.” Choose your email provider.

Connecting Gmail:

1. Enter the name of your Gmail account.

2. Select and log into your Google account.

3. Allow the “Amwork” application additional access rights to your Google account, then click “Continue.”

Next, an Amwork window will open with mailbox settings where you can:

• Select the mailbox owner.

• Grant access to the mailbox to other users.

• Synchronize emails from the last 7 days.

• Set up automatic creation of contacts and deals from new email addresses.

Automatically Create Contacts for All Email Addresses with Which Correspondence Was Conducted:

• Choose the contacts section from the list to create contacts from incoming email addresses.

Automatically Create Leads/Deals for All New Contacts:

• Choose the section for creating deal cards, then select the pipeline/board where the deal cards will be created.

If you need to delete a connected mailbox, click on the pencil icon next to the connected email account. In the settings window that opens, click on the trash icon — “Delete Mailbox.”

Connecting Non-Gmail Email

If you need to connect an email account other than Gmail, in addition to entering the email address, you must provide the IMAP and SMTP server details and port numbers, and create an application password for Amwork in your email account settings.

1. Enter Email Address: Provide the name of your email account.

2. IMAP Server Details: Enter the IMAP server address and port number.

3. SMTP Server Details: Enter the SMTP server address and port number.

4. Create Application Password: In your email account settings, create an application password specifically for Amwork.

It is important to ensure that the SMTP/IMAP data transfer feature is enabled in the mailbox settings and that the port details are correctly specified.

After that, you can do the rest of the mailbox settings such as  automatic creation of contacts and leads.
